Philip Ferenc Obituary

PHILIP J. FERENC, age 83, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026. Loving soulmate of Cheryl. Dear son of the late Frank and Rosemarie (nee Frusterio). Dearest father of Sherri Ronnebaum (Kevin) and Philip Jr. (Bridget). Cherished step dad of Danielle Snyder (Mathew). Devoted grandfather to Helena and Harrison and "grandpa Phil" to Mason and Madilynn. Beloved brother of Gregory (Catherine). Loyal and dear friend to many in Ohio and Florida.

Phil started his electrical career upon graduating from High School in 1960. He started his own company, Lakeside Electric Inc., in Cleveland, Ohio and has been a member of IBEW Local 38 for 60 plus years. Phil loved boating and fishing, and was an active member of Forest City Yacht Club for 43 years joining in 1983. His love of the water led him to spend winters in Florida where he continued to boat and fish with family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 2-6 p.m. followed by Phil's funeral service at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Phil's memory to St. Columbkille Church, 6740 Broadview Rd., Parma, OH 44134, would be appreciated.
